About us

The United States of Leafland, more commonly referred to as The Leafland Union, The USL, or simply Leafland, is a self-declared micronation situated on the island of Guernsey, located just off the coast of northern France in the English Channel. The micronation was officially founded in 2022, emerging from a desire to create a unique, sustainable, and progressive society. Despite being a relatively young entity, Leafland has navigated numerous internal and external challenges, including multiple conflicts, and remains a resilient and active participant in international micronational organizations, such as the UGMO (United Guernsey Micronational Organization), where it continues to attend meetings to this day.
