Early History

The nation was founded on the 22nd of September 2022 by Joseph Tadd and co-founder James Collins under the name 'Kingdom of Leafland' with Tadd as the King and Collins as the first Prime Minister. A few days later however, the Prime Minister broke multiple laws - which the exact laws were lost - and was banished from the country. We do know he recieved 18 counts of resisting arrest, though. Since the Prime Minister was gone, Leafland temporarily became an Absolute Monarchy, it remained like this for a couple of days.

Mid-History: The Dispute & War.

The Kingdom of Leafland switched to a presidential system and started to unite with the surrounding territories. These territories included Grassland, Dirtland (Now Bedland), The Northern Plot and Bubba's Buffet. The government system change also prompted a name change with the new name being the 'Leafland Union'. Bubbalend was not happy however, as Bubba's Buffet was the leading source of income for the country and a dispuite over the area was formed. A few days later, Leafland declared war without the knowledge of the leaders of Bubbalend and invaded the territory. When the leaders where notified, they defended harshly and pushed back the Leaflandic troops to the border where they remained at a stalemate. Though, the enemy troops found a weak point and pushed inwards, quickly annexing Bubba's Buffet and the entire northern section of Leafland before regrouping and advancing southward. They eventually captured the entire nation. The president, however, decided to ragebait the Bubbalend Prime Minister causing him to sign a peace deal where no sides gained or lost anything. The prime minister was later deported back to Guernsey where he started his own micronation that dissolved after 3 days. Soon after, Bubbalend and Leafland both became allies and signed a treaty that gave Bubba's Buffet to Leafland as long as Bubbalend citizens could access Bubba's Buffet as they please.

Latest History

In mid-2023, Leafland united for the final time with former micronation Swagnation after the old leader left the island. It was then renamed to the Finn Greening State to honor and remember the old leader. The country also changed its name from the Leafland Union to the 'United States of Leafland'. Currently, the Finn Greening State has the second highest HDI in the country, just behind Leafland City and is now one of the most culturally rich places in the country with the most spoken language being native (Aba/Ada).

This is the National Flag of the country. This version was created in 2023 and still is the standard used today.

National Coat of Arms

This is the National Coat of Arms for the States of Leafland and the current version was also created in 2023 - a little bit later then the flag - but their are plans to remove the Coat of Arms entirely and replace it with the Emblem which is seen in the centre of the 'Arms.

• When Leafland invaded Bubbalend, the president actually told them that his own troops had doen it without his order. This claim was destroyed, however, when the leaders of Bubbalend found the war declaration.
• The president has over 3 years of experience in web development and just over a year of server managment.
• When Leafland claimed the Northern Plot, they didn't realize it was reserved for Swagnation. Though, an agreement was made and they split the territory in half.
• The religion of the Holy Bush was a religion created before Leafland was ever thought about. The reason why it's a religion is because the bush protected many during dangerous situations and many believed it is guarded by Gods.
• The presidential terms in Leafland last 5 years. This means so far, there has only been one term which is the current one.
• Lake Leafland was a massive puddle discovered in the Peninsula Hotel car park after a storm.
• Leafland News used to print real news papers. The last one was about an economic union that was created by the President.
• The United Guernsey Micronational Organization only has one member, Leafland. Though, at it's peak, it had arround roughly 6 members.
• Every organizaion and service in Leafland is government run. This is because there is simply not enough people in the government to run these organizations.
